PREREQUISITES: Registered Acupuncturists or Acupuncture students who have completed all the Acupoints and Acupuncture Techniques

Zhen Jiu Da Cheng (The Great Compendium of Acupuncture and Moxibustion) 针灸大成 is a foundational text in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), compiled by Dr. Yang Jizhou (1522–1620), a renowned Ming Dynasty acupuncturist and physician to Emperor Jiajing. This ten-volume masterpiece explores the origins of acupuncture, key treatment methodologies, and the integration of herbal medicine, offering invaluable insights for clinical practice.


Prof. Henry Tarazona had the honor of studying the Compendium with Professor Chen Ze Lin 陈泽林, a leading scholar in TCM and author of its nationally updated edition used in Chinese universities.


This course focuses on Bloodletting Techniques and the 13 Ghost Points, providing acupuncturists and TCM practitioners with tools to refine their skills and achieve better clinical outcomes.

Henry Tarazona, R.TCMP, R.Ac, B.M , M.D, PhD China


Prof. Henry is a registered acupuncturist and he is a direct student of Wang Jin Gui, one of the most renowned doctors in China. I’m also one of the few individuals from the Western world to have earned a PhD in Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. With over 13 years of clinical and academic experience, Prof. Henry is a highly accomplished practitioner and educator. He graduated from Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and currently work in Canada as both a dedicated clinician and an instructor. Prof. Henry seamlessly integrate Western medical knowledge with the ancient perspectives of TCM, offering a comprehensive approach to patient care and education. Known for his expertise and dynamic teaching style. He is passionate about empowering practitioners to refine their skills and achieve exceptional outcomes.
