Free Webinar: The Earth Season in Traditional Chinese Medicine

The Earth Season in Traditional Chinese Medicine

Thursday, August 12th, 2021

6:30 PM- 7:30 PM

Location: Online

Do you know that in Traditional Chinese Medicine, there are not 4 but 5 seasons?

There are the seasons you know: Spring (wood element), summer (fire), autumn (metal), winter (water).

The seasons match the 5 element theory in Traditional Chinese Medicine, which means there's also a season for the Earth Element: this is the late summer! According to The Yellow Emperor's Classic of Medicine, in late summer, the weather is damp, the fruits ripen, turn yellow and have a sweet flavour. This is the time to nourish the flesh and the muscles.

Now, how can we tune in with the late summer, and nourish our muscles that might have changed during the pandemic, and also prepare our bodies and minds for the colder seasons that follow?

If you enjoyed the winter, spring and summer seminars, you will love this one coming on Thursday, August 12th at 6:30 pm.

OCTCM alumni and acupuncturist Aline Yon, BSc MSc R.Ac, will talk you through the Earth season in Traditional Chinese Medicine and give you tips on how to make the most out of it without making yourself overworry.

There will be a 1-hour lecture with additional time to answer your questions.

Enjoy and see you soon!
